The Volunteers Transportation Program The Ambassador Program is new to the Iowa Quad Cities. It is a collaboration between Bettendorf Transit, Davenport CitiBus, River Bend Transit, health & human service agencies and volunteers. The goal of the program is to educate a base of volunteer ambassadors who will help local seniors understand and use pulic transit. Working directly with transit managers ambassadors will learn how tranist systems operate in their community. Ambassadors will receive continuing support from the areas public transit systems. Following the completion of training you will be able to help others in understanding schedules, navigating routes, transferring plus other valuable information. There will be benefits in becoming an ambassador that will be discussed during "Ambassador" training. Please contact River Bend Transit if you would like consider becoming a volunteer Ambassador.
