River Bend Transit can help. RBT operates a fleet of vehicles – from mini-vans to 20 passenger buses equipped with ramps or lifts, operated by courteous and experienced drivers.

River Bend Transit provides weekday door-to-door transportation to elderly and disabled rural residents and to the general public in Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine and Scott counties.  RBT’s vehicle fleet is fully ADA accessible and operated by courteous, experienced drivers who specialize in serving people with disabilities.
 
County service operates differently depending on the county being served.  Click on the individual fare card for the information pertaining to your specific county location.  
 


Note:  Some county service funding assistance is received from Milestones Area Agency on Aging. 

River Bend Transit provides transportation for people with physical and mental disabilities who live within the city limits of Davenport and Bettendorf in accordance with the American’s with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA eligible). RBT vehicles are fully equipped with lifts or ramps to assist entry, and are operated by courteous, experienced drivers who specialize in serving people with disabilities.

Davenport Paratransit
Davenport contracts with RBT to provide curb-to-curb ADA paratransit service only for ADA eligible riders. Riders must complete the "Application for Paratransit Services", available on the CitiBus website or by calling CitiBus at 563-888-2151.  

Hours of operation:  

  • 5:30 AM - 7 PM, Monday through Friday;
  • 6 AM - 9 AM, Saturday service (this service NOT ADA-restricted; open to the general public for work trips ONLY)
  • 8:30 AM - 7 PM, Saturday ADA service
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sunday 

 
Bettendorf Dial-A-Bus
Bettendorf contracts with RBT to serve seniors (60+), those with disabilities, and the general public with door-to-door demand-response service.
Hours of operation:

  • 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday;
  • 8:45 AM - 5:40 PM, Saturday

River Bend Transit provides  curb-to-curb transportation for low-income passengers needing rides related to work, including job training and job search.

This service operates 7 days a week on a time and space available basis.

Schools – public and private – in Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine or Scott counties may need to transport a small number of students with disabilities. RBT can help meet this need.

River Bend Transit's fleet is equipped with lifts or ramps to assist entry, and are operated biy courteous, experienced drivers who specialize in serving people with disabilities.
 
Because the Iowa Department of Education has certified RBT to provide school transportation services, all buses used for student transportation are safety inspected and certified by the Iowa DOE.
